In 2017, the pay-per-view was a Raw branded event. The song 'No Mercy' by Jim Johnston was used as a regular theme song for the events in 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2007. In the 2016 and 2017 events, the theme song was 'No Mercy' by KIT. In 2017, No Mercy moved to the September slot. WWF No Mercy was released in 2000 on the Nintendo 64 console and published by THQ. It is named after the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) & annual pay-per-view event of the same name. No Mercy is the follow-up to 1999's WWF WrestleMania 2000, and the last WWF game released for the Nintendo 64. No Mercy was well received by players and critics alike.
